Notes based on a special series of lectures delivered to members of the Radiation Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology during the period 1941-1944. The subject is microwave generation and propagation. A preface notes the original notes were prepared by S. Seely and E. C. Pollard, and further revised and some material omitted so that the notes may be given a more general distribution. Therefore, the sequence of arguments in proving certain points may be incomplete or perhaps recorded incorrectly.
